The body simply carries out what the mind conceives. Therefore, our sins begin in the mind — for it is where our thoughts, desires, and decisions are formed. That's why as Christian, it is important for us to have a healthy mind. Because a renewed and peaceful mind allows us to discern God’s will and resist the temptations that lead us to sin. And as Christians, it is normal that at times we are defeated by our own mind. We are only human — we feel, we struggle, and it is in our nature to be weak.
